Contact
Plumbing Fix Daily has no contact form, no email address and no comment system. Readers reach the site through its published pages only, so there is no inbox to write to.
That said, corrections and topic suggestions are useful, and the sections below explain what to do with them.
What to send and why
Corrections are the most valuable messages. If a step is wrong, a measurement is off or a method no longer matches current practice, that is worth flagging.
Topic suggestions are welcome too. If a common problem is not covered, or a page assumes knowledge you do not have, that is a gap worth filling.
Questions about your own plumbing cannot be answered here. The site is general information, not a help desk, and no one reviews your specific situation.
What to include in a message
Include the full page address, the heading or step you are writing about, and the exact sentence or figure that seems wrong.
For a correction, add what the correct information is and where it comes from, such as a manufacturer manual, a model number or a local code reference. For a topic suggestion, describe the problem and what you have already tried.
Keep it short and specific. A few clear lines are easier to act on than a long account.
How messages are handled
Messages that arrive through published channels are read and used to update or expand articles. There is no reply, no ticket number and no guarantee that a given suggestion will be published.
Because there is no email address or form on the site, treat anything you send as a one-way note rather than a conversation.
